Posted in Furniture, Kitchen, TV stand

As it is said, all necessary things right under the hand! Here in this so-called “kitchen library” every day manuals and magazines and are kept. Such kind of disposition is very good as it does not bind and it is not so difficult financially. The right decision will be if you foresee the horizontal location of keeping papers. Evidently some kind little creative disorder will “reign” here. Successful interior decision is when bookcases are situated in recess and thus “sunk” in the wall. Please turn attention to selected height of the shelves – it (the height) resolves the problem with the sizes of encyclopaedic publications. What regards to the depth it should be at the optimum level – 28 centimeters. Then the books will be in one row and the book stand will jut out of the wall. Another possible depth is 40 centimeters is for those who need to put gathered folios in two rows.  You can use special library stairs which will add style and modern look to your kitchen. This is perfect way to surprise everyone! Look, how creative and stylish it is! Also if you have an entertainment center in your kitchen on the TV stand you can add special media DVD/CD storage to them! And your kitchen will become the ultra modern one with exquisite and fantastic appearance! Surely, no one wants to leave this fascinating area even if the living room is very comfort!

This is a real miracle: in extreme nature and sometimes in severe social conditions masters create genuine masterpieces which can beautify life of almost any person of any culture in any region of our planet. Thus furniture painting – is authentic painting of very high level. Stories, motifs, combination of paints, are the same which were used in Buddhist temples and domestic sacrariums. Though the furniture is not reach at forms and varieties (chests, trunks, low tables, armchairs) but it is saturated with beautiful finishing. The carving decorating the furniture units is presented with skilful combination of different ornaments: geometrical, vegetable and zoomorphic.

Decorator’s advice

As it is very difficult to find Tibet furniture (tables, seats) and Tibetans have no sofas at all it can be possible to use massive furniture of restrained forms with expressive texture while designing the living room. Authentic carpets and pillows with patterned pillowcases perfectly harmonize with such kind of furniture. Special Tibet material such as wide woolen striped cloth or gold-brocaded silk is very good addition to the furniture.

It is worth to know about….

Tibet – is a unique territory which is settled by a community of people professing Buddhism in the thought of Lamaism and also professing national Tibet religion named Bon. The cultural complex has arisen here under the influence of religion traditions. The Buddhist monasteries have been the real educational and cultural centers where art and trade were developing. Skilfully adorned books and tan-ka have been specially made for these monasteries. Having preserved lively antiquity the culture turned out to be surprisingly distinctive and today our interest to it grows year by year.

Clear ornate lettering

Tibet masters have no equal in metal processing. The best decoration of any home interior – religious Buddhist sculpture; but if having no talk about this the whole utensils of Tibet house – teapots, milk jugs, censers, plates, bowls, basins, made of colored metals (copper, bronze, brass) are the real work of high art. Different technics are obvious: moulding, coining, engraving, gilding and silvering, insertions from corals and turquoise. As a rule thin and fine tracery while being lavish and rich at the same time covers the thing completely transforming it to sound artwork. Even the most modest items such as door lock keys are original marks of artistic handicrafts which can become the collectable items. Table mirrors fringed with waterfall of patterned metal are indeed miraculous. To the point such kind of mirror is non-traditional article for Tibet.

There are some features of real Tibetan items: if metal items are from brass, then the chased brass shines and the background of copper items is dull or dark brown.

Warm silence

Carpet business is widely spread among Tibetans. The Tibetan carpets are weaved from pure woolen and that is why they are very warm and durable though not being too soft as having no nap. During the process of manufacturing traditional technologies are used: the sheep’s hair is thoroughly combed out, it is washed and it is span. The environmentally safe dye on vegetable basis is used for coloring. There special methods of weaving, particularly the technology of single and double knots. Each carpet is inimitable in its creation. There is great number of patterns – from compound geometrical with plant tracery in Chinese style to simplified patterns with rich and bright images of dragons, lions, tigers, birds and flowers. These carpets are very durable, they can set the pitch to the whole home interior, building warm atmosphere of comfort in your home.
